    For me, I think one of the trickiest parts of getting a tattoo is actually the healing process. I had to make sure my arm wasn’t rubbing against things when I was moved and be careful that my vest wasn’t bouncing against it. I also like really hot showers and it was tricky to keep my arm out of the way.

      Did you use saniderm? It makes the healing process a lot easier

        I used some sort of scar ointment that my mom had used on her tattoo, but I don’t know which one it was. It definitely helped!

        Saniderm is basically plastic wrap that stays on the tattoo for 3-5 days. I’m definitely a big fan, because it doesn’t require any immediate care. After that I put aquaphor on it.

        Got it! I have heard of this, but my artist actually advised against keeping it covered.
