Similar to Kevin’s question about the heat, how do you deal with the cold? I know it’s a common problem due to our poor circulation. I think it’s largely an unavoidable issue, but the best solutions I’ve found are hand warmers. I have these ones called Green Heat, which are gel like and come in different sizes. They can be activated immediately, but after about 30 minuets they need to be boiled to be used again. Not the most convenient, but they work pretty well. The microwaveable ones are also pretty good. I also have a really awesome coat that is warm, but is also light and doesn’t restrict movement too much. I never wore coats for years because I thought they were just too movement restrictive, but not this one. I got it at REI. It’s pretty much the same quality as a Patagonia, but it’s just generic REI brand so way less expensive. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.
