    When I was eight I had a spinal fusion, but several years later I got very sick and the rods broke loose from where they were anchored to my pelvis. This has allowed my spine to start shifting so that my tailbone nearly points up. A few years ago I stated seeing a surgeon who had originally worked on my surgery but then transferred to seeing adult instead of children. He hadn’t seen me since the surgery, and upon looking at the xrays of my back he stared at the screen and said, “I… don’t know how you did that…” He still hasn’t figured it out.
