• Paranoia vs. Protection

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great weekend!

Here’s Alyssa’s latest column, which I’m sure many of us here can relate to: https://smanewstoday.com/2019/03/29/its-not-paranoia-if-germs-are-out-get-you/.

I actually just got over a stomach bug that was going around my family, and I too was extra careful at church and lunch yesterday to not catch anything else. There’s nothing like when you get sick, and knowing that you could’ve prevented it. I’ve had that happen with broken bones as well.

Could you relate to this column? Do you have any strategies for protecting yourself from germs when you’re out?

Yes! I really can’t explain how nervous it makes me to pass someone with a cough in public (or worse, someone who knows they should have stayed away from me). As far as battling germs, hand sanitizer. LOTS of hand sanitizer! Most people are amazed at how much of it I own and carry with me.
