From what they told me, the procedure addresses the ingrown part with a 5% chance of it coming back in your lifetime! I’m getting it done at the end of the month – I’ll let you know how it goes.

I feel this so much. I wish I would’ve made a greater effort to “exercise” during quarantine! But hey, any amount of progress is good!

I’m so glad it helped, Emma! You’re definitely not alone – I struggled with jealousy a lot when Spinraza came out because it wasn’t available to me. I was happy for people in the community but sad for myself. Definitely a mix of emotions.

Honestly, it barely affects me! It does the job, because my hallucinations are more or less a thing of the past, but I don’t really feel that it makes me drowsy or anything like that.
