Biography

I was one of three daughters (in a family of six girls) diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, more recently known as SMA Type II.  I am significantly affected in regards to strength, movement, personal care, endurance and resilience.  However, none of these define me as a person.  I have a degree in business, and I’ve had an extensive opportunity in my career.  I’ve also contributed as an advocate for myself an others like me.  I’ve represented MDA as a patient ambassador.  I was awarded for my advocacy and business achievements by my almatador.  My husband (of 15 years) and I moved south a year ago to limit me from upper respiratory infections.  I’ve been receiving Spinraza, spinal injections treatments.  (9)  With measurable improvements, I’ve gained the fortitude to create my own company, Grace with a Glitch.  I’ve studied to become a Certified Life Coach, specifically for people with disabilities, their family and caregivers.  I’m extremely excited about the potential I have both in my health and business.  God is good.
