Just found out that I am the oldest person in the world receiving Spinriza treatments.Brooklyn born, Brooklyn bred, trained as a lawyer, spent large part of my career working for Ross Perot and his company EDS, first in private practice, then, as EDS’ General Counsel.  Notwithstanding my age, other than my SMA, I am remarkably healthy and blessed to be so.

How long have you or the person that you are caring for had SMA?

Since it is genetic, and I am 80, I've had it for 80 years, but it was misdiagnosed until I was 25 not completely diagnosed by type until the mid-1970s
