I’ve tried all kinds of padding and I have tried a donut but the one I got is 2 small 2 help. I’ve tried setting on a frozen towel and I know what you mean it did help me more than anything. But it didn’t last long.

I have SMA 4 that hit me when I was around 45.

My buttocks have atrophied to the point where It feels like when I sit down I’m setting on shards of glass. Does anyone have this problem? If so what do you do to help with the pain?

I don’t know if they are related? But I have SMA and I have arthritis in my back. My chiropractor advise me of this when I was younger before I even had the diagnosis of SMA. But I do know that the arthritis in my back is very painful. So is it related or is it not? That is a great question. I would love to have the answer.
