Biography

I got diagnosed in 2022, with SMA1 and Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, but I had been looking for answers for over 20 years, I had genetics testing done and got these results, I am still new to all of this but so thankful that I now know what I have. Everyday is a challenge, but as a wife and a mom, I gotta keep on keeping on, that is what I now live by. I can still walk, but everyday is a struggle, and my balance is horrible. It is hard for me to get up from a seated position, go up any stairs, a curb, or even a ramp. I am so thankful that I can continue to wake up in the mornings and get up out of bed, and still walk even if it is slowly.
