My son is 39 with SMA 1-2.  At  8 years of age, he went into respiratory failure and was trached along with a g-button.    We both follow this site.  He has a B.A. in communications.

I am his primary caregiver.  We are a team.  Right now, like many others, we are woefully short of nursing to help with his many needs.

Hopefully, Kevin and I can learn from this site and perhaps also teach.
