I am a stay-at-home mom and caregiver for my three year old son, Connor, who is diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy with Respiratory Distress (SMARD1). There is no treatment or medication for this type of neuromuscular disease as yet, but, I am very interested and eager to learn and know more about some of the related disease research and information.
