Hi everyone ! My name is Jen, I’m 49 (but feel like I’m 26 until I look in the mirror … yikes!) and have SMA type 1, Werdnig-Hoffman (sp?) disease since diagnosed at age 1 and 1/2 back in 1969 when I had a muscle biopsy done. I’m the oldest of 4 children. And, fortunately, NONE of my sisters or brother contracted SMA. Along with SMA, I also have severe scoliosis and an S-curved spine, which should be donated to science …ha!
I currently teach math for 2 local colleges. I have a little 10 lb fur baby named Miley. And most recently I’m on a quest to get financing for my 3rd van which includes (hopefully, as I’m VERY nervous ) starting my own blog with attached Holistic Healing Online Store. OK, well that’s me! 🙂
