So I just got back from a trip to New York City with my parents. It was a great trip, and the first time I went was six years ago. Still, even after having been there before, I was pretty overwhelmed by the amount of people and the stress of just getting across the street. I love visiting there and seeing Broadway shows, but I don’t think I could ever live in a city that big.

However, I was wondering if anyone here does live in a big city, either in the U.S. or in another country. If so, what recommendations do you have? Between getting around, having proper accommodations and dealing with inaccessible places and cracked roads, how do you manage?
