    In the latest episode of the SMA News Today Podcast, Brynne Willis shares her experiences as a graduate student with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) type 2. Willis is currently working on her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University, and plans on pursuing a PhD in this program as well.

    Willis is also an active member in the SMA community, having spoken at multiple Cure SMA conferences and at the Patient Focused Drug Development conference in 2017. During this interview she speaks in-depth about her disability advocacy work, and also shares advice for other SMA individuals about entering the workforce and living independently.
