Infants who use Spinraza may show reduced height compared to their peers, although evidence for this is limited. Because Spinraza can cause abnormalities in blood clotting, patients may also be at a greater risk of developing bleeding complications. Patients and families should talk with their healthcare teams about how to minimize long-term complications.
