  Melissa Milinovich is a fiercely independent single mom living with SMA. In addition to working full-time for the U.S. government, Melissa also uses her social media platforms to advocate on behalf of people with SMA and people with disabilities. Besides being a mom to her 11-year-old daughter, Melissa’s proudest work involves mentoring younger women and girls living with SMA in a way she wishes she could have been mentored herself.
