Motherhood and SMA
Today’s 31 Days of SMA post is all about motherhood from Jennifer Perkins who has SMA type 3.
Jennifer became a first-time momma to Levi a little over two years ago. As if navigating a new world of motherhood wasn’t beautiful and challenging enough, Jennifer had to figure out how to navigate this world with SMA and the abilities she has to care for her son.
From what Jennifer wrote, it sounds like she and her husband make a great team in parenting Levi. Levi is also adapting and understanding her abilities as well. I love how she would let Levi stand on her footrest to “carry” him around the house. I do the same thing with my nephew!
