Jean Bridges, PT
Jean Bridges has worked as a physical therapist for more than 30 years in clinical settings, including inpatient care, acute rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, outpatient services, and aquatics. A geriatric clinical specialist, she also works with adults who have neurologic diseases and injuries.
She serves as a clinical evaluator in a drug trial for facioscapulohumeral dystrophy. For 15 years, she has been part of Duke’s neuromuscular clinic team, where she finds the work both inspiring and challenging. Outside of work, Bridges enjoys spending time outdoors and learning to identify native plants and wildlife in her neighborhood.
