Some days my life with SMA looks like this and other times it looks like this and then other times it looks like this.
Some days my life with SMA looks like this and other times it looks like this and then other times it looks like this. My point is that living with SMA is so incredibly nuanced and there’s so much more to living with this diagnosis than simply being a patient.
That’s why I’m so excited to tell you that SMA News Today is hosting a free virtual event on Tuesday, August 25th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. It’s called Life Beyond the Clinic and it’s really for anyone in our community that’s interested. That could be people living with SMA, parents, caregivers, newly diagnosed families, advocates, community leaders, really anyone that is interested in learning more.
This event will be a panel discussion of many different people living with SMA and they are going to be talking about so many different topics from traveling with SMA to building a career to dating with SMA. Basically anything that goes beyond the medical aspect of our diagnosis and really everything that actually matters to building a big, bold, and beautiful life with SMA.
