Day 21 of 31

This is Jasmine West’s story:

Hello, I’m Jasmine, I’m 28 years old and live in England. I was diagnosed with SMA when I was 18 months old.

I work full time in payroll, and I model in my spare time. I live with my husband, Luke, and our gorgeous cat, Baby!

Growing up, I never imagined I’d live the life that I do now! I drive my wheelchair-accessible vehicle, and I like to think of myself as a confident and independent woman. I employ a team of carers who assist me with daily living, and honestly, they’re all my best friends!

I’m lucky enough to have been able to travel growing up, and I would love to see more of the world. SMA has never stopped me from doing anything, and it never will.

I’m a crazy cat lady, and one day I’d love to open a cat café — an accessible one, of course.

I use my Instagram page to share my life, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. By doing this, I have met and advocated for lots of different people, and will continue to do so until the world is a better place for disabled people.
