Columnist Writes About Flair to Her Rare
As I mentioned last week, yesterday was Rare Disease Day— a day designated to raise awareness and advocate for the 300 million people like us living with rare diseases. So, I took to my column last week to write about SMA and how my many unsolved symptoms only add flair to my rare. You can read it here.
Do your doctors have trouble diagnosing you for certain ailments? Mine refer to me as a spotted zebra which I think, in my honest opinion, suits me well.
