Do you have an evacuation plan in place?
Having an evacuation plan in place is important, whether it’s a natural disaster, fire, or another emergency.
I was thinking about this the other day because, on a much lesser scale, my road was torn up. The town is paving it, and for about a day, I couldn’t go anywhere. Naturally, my brain immediately went to, “Well, what if a medical emergency comes up?”
With equipment like a power chair and ventilator (and let’s be real, so much more), it’s not as simple as grabbing my keys and going. There are so many factors to consider.
I’m curious: Do you have a plan in place? If so, what does it look like, and how did you create it?
