Growing up with a sibling that has SMA definitely has its pros. At the same time, though, it can also bring on feelings of anger, frustration, and a hard hit of reality.
In today’s feature, Noelle shares the highs and lows of having an older brother who is also living with SMA type 2. On one hand, the love they have for each other truly carries one another through. However, watching her brother experience an ableist world, the same world that she has to navigate through as well, reminds her of just how inaccessible and more challenging life is for disabled people.
