Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a great week.

Check out my latest column here. I wrote about how having personal space has helped me tremendously, especially in terms of gaining independence. My cave is of course my Batcave, and it stores all of my pop-culture memorabilia.

Do you have a space like this? What do you use it for?

Kevin, this one is hilarious! I’m quite a social person so I prefer to spend most of my time with my family and caregivers, but I also like retreating to my own space to unwind at the end of the day. I have the master suite in our house so it’s pretty big and has a bathroom and walk-in closet which holds a large percentage of my medical equipment. I enjoy spending my nights here listening to music, watching tv, playing games on my phone, and writing. (Should probably be doing that right now. Don’t tell). My room also holds my own collection of fun, nerdy things. Very wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

Anyone who doesn’t get that reference can’t be my friend. 😊
