Most of us who are familiar with SMA and general disability advocacy will have known Alice Wong. She was a force to be reckoned with, who lived with SMA until the age of 51 late last year. Both our news team and our Community Editorial Manager on his column, Kevin Schaefer, have written about her impact as an activist and a writer, for those who would like to know more about her circumstances in her last days and her legacy.

Following that, I believe there are community members among us who’d like to share the impact she has had on them individually, in remembrance of her. Those stories are important, too, and should be heard to honor her. So, please, if there’s anything you’d like to say about Alice or her work, come share as you will.
