Hello all. I wanted to share Michael’s column from this week. This does a really good job articulating what it’s like for the able-bodied siblings of an SMA patient.

    Here’s the article: https://smanewstoday.com/2018/01/10/sma-spine-surgery-shining-siblings/

I’m curious to hear from you all what it’s like for your SMA child’s siblings, especially when your SMA child is going through a hospitalization or illness. I’m the youngest of three in my family, and I’m the only one who has SMA. My siblings have always been supportive of me, and now that we’re all adults we hang out as friends and my brother often drives me around. I’m curious to hear what your experiences are like.
