While social distancing and quarantines are the main topics on everyone’s minds as of late, many aren’t taking this global pandemic seriously— and, ultimately, putting those with underlying conditions at risk.
Yesterday, insider.com shared an article about the disabled community banding together on social media and sharing how COVID-19 could have a serious impact on their lives.
In it was the SMA community’s very own Shane Burcaw of Squirmy and Grubs explaining how the disease could easily kill him. The article shared his Instagram posts here and here.
