Holiday Movie Stars Disabled Actress
It’s about time is all I have to say. One of Lifetime’s holiday movies features a young woman who’s in a wheelchair. I haven’t seen the movie yet, so can’t say if it’s good bad or otherwise. Regardless what I can say is that I hope the trend of featuring disabled individuals continues. Have you seen it? What are your thoughts? I draw the line at cheesy Hallmark movies— Lifetime movies are too over the top haha. But THIS! This is so exciting! I am going to have to make the exception and watch it. I truly hope our efforts to get disability better represented in the media doesn’t fall on deaf ears. This is promising news.

I watched it, because it starred a truly disabled woman. It was as sappy as expected, but did a good job of showing her interacting with others and her environment.
