Hey all. Due to my long list of complex stomach issues, my doctor wants me to get vitamin D infusions. This is a last resort for me since I’ve already tried many different supplements.

Have you gotten infusions before? If so, did you feel any different? I have been vitamin D deficient (or have teetered along the line of borderline deficiency) for years, so I’m curious if a little boost will be beneficial. To be honest, I don’t remember how I felt before I became deficient, so I guess we’ll see what happens.

    Hi

I take 50000 IU vitamin D3 (Calciferol or Idexis) once a week. Vit D is important for bone health amongst other things. It helps you to absorb calcium, magnesium and phosphates. Many other biological functions also depends on vit D.

Oh wow! My doctor only wanted me taking 2000 IUS daily, but my stomach couldn’t handle it. I wonder how infusions will work since it’s not a daily thing.
