As Alyssa mentioned, the 31 Days of SMA stories were amazing! I had the opportunity to talk with Katie Napiwocki who helped recruit contributors and gather stories. We talk about some of the themes we saw throughout. Resilience, family, and exploring possibilities are just a few. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation, so hope you enjoy it as well.
What are some themes that jumped out to you?

The first word (or theme) that comes to my mind is resiliency. And what was so amazing to me was that every story was so unique but still somehow resonated. They all related to the SMA experience.
Awesome video. Katie (and the others involved) did a great job picking this year’s contributors.
