We end the month with a call for advocacy. Ben Mattlin’s story talks about how far we’ve come in the 31 years since the ADA was passed. He also goes on to say we have much more work to do. SMA awareness month is coming to a close, but let’s not forget that SMA doesn’t go away when the month is over. Each day we have the opportunity to enhance our lives along with those around us. Great story to end 31 Days of SMA. It’s amazing the progress that has been made thus far when you think back to just a few decades ago. But there is still so much work and activism that has to be done if we truly want to live in a more inclusive world.
