School as we’ve known it has changed exponentially in the last 6 months. In some ways, with virtual learning on the forefront of everyone’s minds, some may even agree that it has changed for the better.
When I was in school, virtual learning didn’t exist. During the winter months, I’d homeschool myself in order to stay healthy, so I know that I would have greatly appreciated what students have today. Of course, in-person learning is best, but virtual learning would have come in handy rather than having to teach myself calculus. That being said, I am grateful that my school even allowed me to do this.
What does your child’s school year look like this year? Are there concerns you have about their academics or how to manage this new normal?
