Hello,
I would like to join the SMA Over 50 group. My name is Julie. I am 58 yo and have Type 3 with 3 gene copies. I am still ambulatory but currently my strength is declining quickly.

That’s great. You can search for the group and click on join. I’ll be looking for your request. 🤗

FYI – That private group is on Facebook, so if you’re not a member of Facebook you could still post here. I haven’t started a thread/group here, but perhaps someone else might?

I want to join the Facebook Group. My name is Terry, and I will turn 51 in a couple of weeks.

Hi Terry, you should be able to find it either by searching or maybe the link I just tried to post.

Cannot find it by searching the Groups even with the exact title “Adults with SMA age 50 & over”. Tried different variations also, please provide the link

I also could not find the group on Facebook by searching for it. However, after I logged into FB and clicked on the link Robin provided the group popped right up and I was able to submit my request to join.
