Columnist Writes About Meeting One of His Nerd Celebrities
Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a great week so far.
Check out my latest column here. Recently, I got a chance to meet actress/writer/producer Felicia Day, who is a huge geek celebrity. She came to my alma mater as part of her tour for her new book “Embrace Your Weird.”
I wrote about how Day’s work influenced my own, especially in terms of my column. Just as Day worked to change stigmas about geeks, I hope to challenge stereotypes about people with my disabilities through my writing.
