Happy March! My friend and fellow columnist, Sherry, reminded me to rest a little while ago when I had a head cold. Our conversation reminded me of the importance of having friends who really “get” your situation, especially when it comes to SMA, so I wrote a column about it.

Y’know, I wouldn’t have said what I did if you hadn’t essentially pointed out that we aren’t lazy, just struggling, and that it’s okay. You are far too modest, babe. Love you and wouldn’t be where I am without you.
