In the latest episode of Dose of DeAnn: A Glimpse Into My Life with SMA, I talk about finding the right wheelchair. I have never walked, and as such my wheelchair is basically an extension of my body and it gives me a ton of independence. However, finding the right one that meets all of my needs can be tricky sometimes.
In this video, I share tips about working with a wheelchair supplier, getting the right accommodations and I share some of my experiences as well. I also provide a few pictures of previous wheelchairs I’ve used so you can see how the different types of chairs have changed over the years.

Nice video DeAnn.I like wheelchair which has motors on front wheels,with them it easier travers over roadside.I usually have German brand Meyra,but I know that is Permobil also very good.
