In the latest episode of Dose of DeAnn: A Glimpse Into My Life with SMA, I talk about how I have to get my service dog Roy re-certified every few years. Canine Companions, which is the organization I use, does this to make sure that the dog is still qualified to work for his or her owner. We meet the trainers at the Mall of America, and it’s a pretty simple process.
Roy and I passed the certification test with flying colors, and I documented the whole experience in this video. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section, or here in the forums.
Who here has a service dog? Do you have to do this re-certification test as well?
Thanks for watching! And be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven’t already.
