Entrepreneurship and SMA
I came across this article by speaker and entrepreneur Jose Flores on the Cure SMA Facebook page: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/315608.
I like how Jose gives good practical advice about leveraging your abilities instead of focusing on your weaknesses. Granted, my story is a little different from his since I’ve been in a wheelchair since I was 2. However, I have of course dealt with the degenerative aspect of SMA, and there have been times in my life when that has taken a toll on me mentally and emotionally. It can be hard to focus on the good when that happens, but it’s quite rewarding when you can develop that mindset.
