Ok. Can I be Bella Andrade when I grow up? Kidding, but only because I’m much older than her.

At 17, Bella is working to change the way people view disabilities and foster more acceptance. She is working to normalize having a disability. From speaking to elementary school students to sharing her experiences with her service dog, Blaine, Bella is truly making an impact in the disability community.

Her advocacy work is inspiring to me. I think at 17 I was just trying to make plans for Friday night and get an A on my calculus exam. What Bella is doing is far more meaningful and I’m grateful for that.

Do you bring awareness to SMA in any way? If so, share your tips below!
