  Happy Friday, everyone! I came across an event that some of you may be interested in: GettingHired is hosting an online career expo on Thursday, May 2nd from 12 pm EDT to 3 pm EDT. Job seekers with disabilities have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with GettingHired’s partner companies, all of whom are actively hiring disabled workers.

  The event is fully accessible and, from what I can tell, completely free. You register for the event in advance and can read up on the companies who will be in attendance. The day of, you get 10-minute chat windows with employers of your choosing. The chat is text-based, with no voice or video input, so it will feel largely like your standard instant messaging medium.
