  Reflecting on a Journey

  Have you guys read Katie Napiwocki’s latest column, “The Sunflower and the Hummingbird” yet? Despite having deeper meaning I find it ironic I’m actually making hummingbird nectar right now. Mom said the hummingbirds are back. On such a cool blustery day they could use the nourishment. Because my backyard is my sanctuary I want to make it inviting to those weary travelers as well. After all they did choose my yard. After reading her column I can appreciate their journey, their resilience, their strength. On a warm sunny day when the hummingbirds zip by I can reflect on their journey as well as my own. What are your takeaways from her column?
