Responding to the Awkward Comments we Receive as SMA Individuals
Hello all. In Ryan Berhar’s column this week he does a great job articulating some of the hilariously awkward comments we receive as individuals with SMA. I especially like how he emphasizes that humorously responding to them can be helpful.
I’m sure we all have stories similar to the ones Ryan tells here, and I’d love for you all to share some of them. I think it’s helpful to share some of these stories and talk with each other about how to respond to them.
