Staring
Staring comes with the territory of SMA, and, while it’s annoying, it’s never bothered me all that much. When it comes to the negative implications of my disease, staring is the least of my concerns. This writer makes some great points on how to deal with staring.

Very good article! Staring has really never been something that bothers me. Most of the time I don’t notice. When I do I just smile, and I always say hello when I notice a curious child.
