    Maybe you recently became friends with an SMA individual or you have a family member who was recently diagnosed. If you are able-bodied and you have someone close to you with SMA, there are some things to keep in mind in terms of how you can be supportive. It’s always important to treat your friend normally and dont keep the focus on their dissability, and try to include them in social events.
