What are some important discussions you always have with a new doctor?
I started going to a new doctor last month for another health issue. While I’m confident he’s an expert in his field, this guy doesn’t know anything about SMA. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, considering I’m such a unique case. My medical history is quite long and complex, so I’m not sure where to start with him. It’s also been a while since I’ve seen someone new, so I’m a bit rusty at this.
