How do you prepare and/or manage anxiety before appointment days?
Have you checked out the resources page on the SMA News website? I got an email about it a few weeks back. There are so many great articles, from how to assemble a care team to interviews with patients and caregivers.
I found a lot of value in this article about effective communication with your care team. I know that I have a million questions in the week leading up to an appointment. I do my best to write things down, but that’s not always the case. I also liked Tyler’s advice about digitizing everything. I’m going to start doing that.
How do you prepare and/or manage anxiety before appointment days? This article is worth reading, but would you add anything else?
