    Reading this story I completely relate to the moment you realize you could do more for if you knew more. Because this family learned that lesson relatively early, it made a difference in their daughter Britt’s wellbeing. Being proactive in her respiratory care led to living beyond expectations.     I feel this so much, too. I think if I could go back in time, I’d be more proactive about getting physical therapy. I needed in-home care and insurance would never cover it because it was considered “maintenance.” I wish I had fought harder back then to get it.
