Dealing With Insurance Denials
If you’re an adult who’s still trying to acquire Spinraza, odds are you’ve probably encountered problems with your insurance provider. I kind of just wanted to get a general discussion about this topic going, and for us to help each other.
My best advice for this is to work closely with your Biogen case manager. If you don’t have one, start talking with Biogen. They’ve been fantastic to work with ever since I started this whole process, and they have people who can answer your questions to the best of their ability. Whether it’s about insurance, finding someone who can administer the treatment or anything else, they’re great people and can offer a lot of resources.
