Ella’s Play Date With an SMA Friend

It’s a simple post, but it illustrates the need for face-to-face interaction. I know that for me, it helps tremendously to have other friends with SMA. I would definitely encourage parents out there to let their kids with SMA have in-person interactions.

It’s interesting, but for whatever reason I had no desire to associate with fellow SMAers as a child. Granted there were never any in my area anyway. As I got older, I definitely felt the need to connect with others who “get it”. Glad Ella can do that at a young age.
