Meet Regina and Al. Their friendship and respect for one another all started at a fundraiser before a Phillies baseball game in 2019. “I watched Regina give a beautiful speech at the event about her recently diagnosed son, Shane,” recalled Al. “I thought to myself, ‘My friends at Cure SMA need to meet this amazing mom and get her involved.’”
With all the turmoil over the past several months it’s hard to look to the future. I’m doing it anyway. Where do you see the world in 50 years? Most likely I won’t be around, but I hope the world will be less divisive and more compassionate. Right now it’s hard to envision that, but I see what we’re going through now as a learning opportunity. What do you foresee for the future world?
